[synopsis] => Trepidante novela de la baronesa D ́Orczy (Hungría 1865 - Montecarlo 1947) en el contexto de la Revolución Francesa. La joven y bella Fleurette lleva una vida tranquila en el campo, alejada de los alborotos de la revolución hasta que se ve afectada por el ataque a sus aristocratas vecinos. A partir de ahí entrará en peligros diversos llegando incluso a ser acusada de traición. Paradójicamente es hija del alto cargo de la Revolución, Armand Chauvelin, defensor, entre otros, de la ley de sospechosos y activo miembro de la Revolución, quien jamás pudo imaginarse que, para salvar la vida de su hija, llegaría a desear la aparición de quien, hasta aquel momento, consideraba su peor enemigo: Sir Percy y su grupo también conocidos con el nombre de La Pimpinela Escarlata.
